Please select the "Berto R" preset when setting up in the app.

## Pre-checks before connecting

* Connect the roaster and the computer using an Ethernet cable.
* Turn on the roasting machine.

## Setting up the network

For different versions of Windows, follow the steps below to adjust your network settings:

* Window 7, 8: Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings (left sidebar)
* Window 10: Start -> Settings icon -> Network & Internet -> Change adapter options (left sidebar)
* Window 11: Control Panel -> View network status and tasks under Network and Internet -> Change adapter settings (left sidebar)

1. Right-click the icon labeled "Local Area Connection" or "Ethernet" (may be displayed as 'Not connected' depending on the device), then select Properties from the menu.

1. In the Local Area Connection Properties window, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click the Properties button.

1. A new window will appear where you can input the IP addresses for the roaster.\
   Enter the required IP addresses as specified by your roaster's network setup.&#x20;

1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner and open the System Preferences. Go to the 'Network' tab on the left.&#x20;
2. In the Network tab, click the 'Service Order' button in the bottom-right corner.

3. Drag Wi-Fi to the top of the list and click 'OK'.

4. Select the 'USB 10/100 LAN' item and click 'Advanced'.&#x20;
5. Click the 'TCP/IP' tab on the left and change the IPv4 configuration to 'Manually'.

6. Fill in the IP address and subnet mask according to the model you are connecting to from the table below, and click 'OK'.&#x20;

1. Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner and open the System Preferences. Go to the 'Network' tab on the left.&#x20;
2. In the Network tab, click the 'Service Order' button in the bottom-right corner.
3. Drag Wi-Fi to the top of the list and click 'OK'.
4. Select the LAN option on the left, and then choose "Manually" for IPv4 configuration.
5. Fill in the IP address, subnet mask, and routher (default gateway) according to the table for your model, and click 'Apply'.&#x20;

## Setting up in the Firescope app

1. On the first roasting machine setup page, click **\[Connect my machin]** or go to the main page → **\[Machines]** and click **\[Create]**.

2. Choose the integration preset that matches your machine, based on the [Preset selection guide](#preset-selection-guide) above.

3. Please enter 192.168.2.10 in the Network IP field. Keep the port unless it is a special case.
4. If the setup is completed, you should start receiving temperature and sensor data within 10 seconds.&#x20;
