# Uploading Log Files
If the machine will not connect or an error message appears, please attach your logs when you contact us, and we can help you more quickly.
**Windows**
1. Right-click the icon of the Firescope app.
2. Select the "Show Logs in Explorer" menu.
3. Attach the `main.log` file in Channel Talk.
Mac
1. Launch the Firescope app.
2. Select the "Help" menu from the menu bar at the top.
3. Select the "Show logs in Finder" menu.
4. Attach the `main.log` file in Channel Talk.
