Phidget (including Diedrich)

Please install the Phidget driver compatible with your operating system.

Once installed, follow these steps to complete the setup

Windows

1. Press the [Windows button] or the [Search icon] on your Windows system, find the Phidget Control Panel program, and run it.

2. Navigate to the second tab at the top, called the Network Server tab.

3. As shown below, set 1 - Startup Type to Automatic, check 2 - Enabled, and press 3 - Start to run the server.

4. Confirm that the Network Server at the bottom is set to Running to ensure it is operating smoothly.

Mac

1. Find and run the Phidget Control Panel program within launchpad.

2. Navigate to the second tab labeled "Network Server" at the top.

3. Click the lock icon at the bottom, enter your account password.

4. Check "2 - Start Automatically on Boot" and "3 - Enabled" as shown in the screenshot below. Press "1 - Start Network Server" to initiate the server, completing the configuration.

1. On the Firescope homepage, click on the roasting machine in the left menu.

2. Press "Add Roasting Machine" on the Roasting Machine page, opening the registration window. Enter an alias, roaster model, and input amount.

3. Choose Phidget under Roasting Machine Integration Preset.

4. Click "Create," select the created roasting machine, and wait for the temperature to display at the bottom right.
