Background Curve and Real-Time Temperature Comparison

The background curve feature allows you to overlay previous roasting records, making it easier to accurately compare with your ongoing roasting session.

Setting a Background Curve from the Roasting Record Page

1. Navigate to the Roasts page and find the record you want to use as a background curve.

2. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) in the upper right corner of the records' page, then select "Set this as background"

3. The selected background curve will be displayed, allowing you to monitor and compare the real-time temperature differences with the previous batch during the roasting process.

Selecting or Changing the Background Log During an Ongoing Roast

You can choose or switch the background log even while roasting or if a background log has already been selected.

1. Click the vertical ellipsis in the upper right corner and click on the "Load Background Log".

2. Search for the desired roasting record.

3. The selected record will be placed as the background log. To view details of the background log, click on the "Background" tab at the bottom right.
