Software Installation for Remote Support

This document covers the steps for installing software to enable remote support.

If you wish to request remote support, please visit the Firescope website (https://eng.firescope.io) and leave message on helpdesk.

  1. Open the Edge browser and go to.

  2. Click on 'Share my screen' and proceed to log in with your Google account.

    After logging in, press the blue download button in the 'Remote Support' menu on the left.

  3. Follow the installation steps as shown in the newly opened window.

    After completing the extension addition, click 'Agree and Install.' Execute the chromeremotedesktophost.exe file in the download folder to finalize the installation.

  4. Finally, click the 'Generate Code' button, share the resulting 12-digit code with the support representative, and remote support will begin.
